Information Collection & Use

Data stored on device: The app stores configuration and operational data locally on your device related to the app's functionality (for example: settings, patrol schedules, local logs). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless the app explicitly provides a server option and you enable it.

No personal data collection by default: KMAPS does not collect, transmit, or store personally identifiable information (PII) to KMK Solution servers by default. If any feature requires sending data to a KMK Solution server (for backup, synchronization, or other optional services), the app will clearly inform you and request your consent.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services and libraries that may collect information about you. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We use the following third-party service providers:

• Google Play Services — for licensing, analytics, and distribution-related functions.
• Other SDKs or libraries embedded in the app (if any) — these will be listed on this page and in-app documentation when applicable.

Log Data

In the event of an error or crash, the app may generate Log Data that can include device information such as IP address, device model, OS version, app configuration, and timestamps. This Log Data may be collected by third-party crash-reporting services (if enabled) to help diagnose and fix issues. We do not use Log Data to personally identify users.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

This Service does not explicitly use browser cookies. However, embedded third-party web content or SDKs may use cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings; disabling them may limit certain functionality.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data stored and processed by the app. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. KMK Solution cannot guarantee absolute security.

Location Data

The KMAPS app may request access to your device’s location (GPS or network-based) to support its core functionality, such as patrol tracking and guest system check-ins.

• Location data is used only while the app is in use and is not shared with third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service.
• We do not sell or disclose location data for advertising purposes.
• Users can disable location access at any time through their device settings; however, some features of the app may not function properly without it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
